You're  Invited! Join us for an informative and engaging evening with Concerns  About Wind Energy (CAWE), as we delve into the pressing issues  surrounding wind energy projects in Newfoundland.

 Event Details: Date and Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Newfoundland time Host: Lisa Kearney, Founder of CAWE Special Guest Speaker: Mark Mallett, Editor in Chief of Wind Concerns Alberta

Mark  Mallett was an award-winning journalist with CTV Edmonton and is now an  independent author and public speaker. His family lives in Northern  Alberta where an industrial wind project is being planned near their  farmhouse. Mark launched the website https://windconcerns.com when he learned of the potential health impacts to humans and animals  from industrial wind plants. Mark has met with the Premier of Alberta  and key Ministers to inform them of the dire impacts of wind turbines on  every environmental level.

Concerns About Wind Energy (CAWE). We are a community-driven volunteer group committed to advocating for, educating about, and raising awareness of the negative impacts of proposed wind energy projects on our province's environment, culture, and history. Our concerns include the effects on wetlands, bogs, forests, protected habitats, ecosystems, residents' health, the fishery, wildlife, endangered species, national security, water supply, tourism-based economies, cultural heritage, archaeological and historic sites, and property values.
